Adlib Gold has YMF262 (OPL3) + YMZ263 codec chip with volume mixer, sampling, playing PCM/ADPCM at 12-bit Smile

I'd vote for separating AdLib as one OPL2/OPL3 music directory from other soundchips like IBM Music Feature or great Japanese soundcards not seen in Europe Smile

I know that it's FM SYNTHESIS FORUM but what do You think about CM/S chips (from GameBlaster) and Tandy sounds? It's still retro thing and in the same mood Cool

I personally am not a big fan of moonsound... mainly because a lot of moon sound composers bias PCM over more classic chip sounds - I'd rather use OPL3 than OPL4

That's great Summa! Any demo songs on them? Randomly recorded patches and playaround would suffice as well.

Categorizing for game soundtracks, example:
Code:
soundshock\megadrive\vgz\tecnosoft\[1992] Thunder Force IV\

A little quick and dirty G2 Track I recently did. Uses quite some waveshaping and a bit FM too.
