The aim of Soundshock is to provide an intelligent and readable source of information on anything related to FM synthesis. This does not mean you have to be some sort of technical wiz or super skilled musician. As long as you're interested in learning more about FM, contributing with your thoughts and ideas, as well as following these few, simple rules - then you've come to the right place!

  • Use capitalization of letters and punctuation properly. I will delete all posts from users who do not follow this simple rule.
  • If you're considering making more than a few posts, please introduce yourself and get yourself a reasonably sized avatar (it makes the forum look a lot more alive).
  • Please look carefully in each forum section to see what kind of topics go where (if the titles aren't self-explanatory) and what prefixes are used (in Tutorial and Market Place sections, for instance).
  • Before posting a thread, make sure it isn't already discussed elsewhere on the forum. Use the search function, duplicate threads will be locked.
  • Don't use custom font colors, sizes or any BBCode unless it's actually necessary.
  • Posting images is okay, but if they are really large you'll have to either resize them or simply paste the link to the image (and remember to warn people if it isn't "safe for work").
  • Try to stay on topic!

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, but please post them in the section titled The Site.

Enjoy your stay!

In case anyone is wondering why subz3ro was banned: he asked me to.

Hello,
please delete my registration on this forum.
It is second time you deleted my post because of some crappy rule, which I honestly can't stand, and I also can't stand to write every post twice because of you delete it if I forget to write a capital letter. I think the content of the post should be on first place on any forum, no matter what...
I know you are trying to keep order in YOUR forum, and that's acceptable, but for me it's just too much of forced uniformity, which I think have no place in 21st century.... For me 12 months of military service was enough Cool

Good luck with the forum
and Best regards,

Stano a.k.a. subz3ro

P.S. You are free to show this message to public, if you dare Smile Maybe somebody is interested (maybe not).

Do note that I warn people before I delete their posts, provided they have something worthwhile to say.

Rules updated. From now on I won't warn people before I delete their posts (unless perhaps they have something really interesting to say). So make sure you put some effort in before you post anything (at least capitalize and punctuate properly).
